Practice Areas

Real Estate (residential & commercial)

A large part of our practice is focused on residential and commercial real estate matters, such as purchasing, selling, leasing, and financing/refinancing, in addition to more complex matters such as Planning Act amendments, conversions of orphan properties from Registry to Land Titles, survey disputes, joint ventures, financial acquisitions/dispositions, mortgage enforcement (for private lenders), and more.

Most land transfers in Ontario are now conducted through the electronic registry system, and we are pleased to offer on-site title searches, executions searches, and land conveyancing, removing the need for outsourced conveyancing and defraying any extra costs related to real estate transactions.

Corporate & Business

We offer various corporate services including incorporations, shareholders' agreements, corporate governance, and the resolution of shareholder disputes. We also offer various business services including purchase/sale of assets, employment issues, and business start-ups, in addition to more complex matters such as applications to the Committee of Adjustments.

Bookkeeping services are also available.

Estates & Trusts

Our knowledgeable lawyers are able to provide you with the advice, guidance, and tools you need to properly plan your estate, including Wills, Powers of Attorney for Personal Property and Personal Care. We are also able to assist you in setting up holding companies and various trusts to help you protect your assets and minimize any probate fees payable on death.
We also offer full estate administration services, including terminal and trust tax returns.
For complex estates matters such as estate challenges that require litigation, we have available a referral base of skilled estates litigation lawyers whom we can refer you to and/or collaborate with.

Notarial Services

All lawyers with the firm are appointed Notary Publics for the Province of Ontario, and all support/administrative staff are Commissioners of Oaths.
